2학기 등록은 언제 하나요?  When does registration start for 2nd semester?

2학기 등록은 1월 둘째주에서 셋째주 사이에 시작합니다. 

The registration for 2nd semester starts on the 2nd or 3rd week of January.

2학기에도 신입생 등록을 받나요? Are new students accepted in 2nd semester?

2학기 등록은 완전초보는 받지 않습니다. 다음 1학기에 등록하세요

Beginners are not admitted during the 2nd semester. 

중급, 고급 학생들도 해당 학년에 맞는 수준의 반에 자리가 있을 경우만 반배정을 받습니다. 

For intermediate/advanced students, an open spot must be available for registration.

등록취소를 원할 경우 어떻게 하면 되나요?  If I want to cancel my registration, how can I do that?

등록 취소할 학생이름, 학년을 적어 학교로 이메일(bellevue@usbks.org)을 합니다. 

Email bellevue@usbks.org with student’s name and grade. 

등록 취소를 원하실 경우 환불을 요청하여야만 환불이 됩니다. 

You must specifically ask for your tuition to be refunded. 

납부를 하신 분은 등록금 규정(학기 시작 전까지는 100% 환불)에 의해 환불해 드립니다. 

Paid tuition will be refunded by our tuition policy (100% refund before first class) 

납부를 하지 않으신 분도 등록 취소할 경우, 반드시 이메일합니다. 대기자 명단에 있는 분을 위해서 입니다.

Even if you didn’t pay tuition, please notify us of your cancellation so we can accommodate students on the waiting list.

등록이 자동으로 취소될 수 있나요? Is the registration cancelled automatically?

다음과 같은 경우 등록이 자동 취소되고, 등록 자동 취소시 이메일로 통보됩니다. 

Registration will be cancelled automatically for the situations listed below and the cancellation will be confirmed via email. 

신입생 시험 보는 날 이메일로 연락도 없이 학생이 출석하지 않을 경우 

Registration will be cancelled for students who are absent from the placement test without any prior notice. 

대기자 명단에 있었으나 개학 후 4주 동안 자리가 없는 경우 

Registration will be cancelled for a student who is on the waiting list for a spot in a Korean Class for more than four weeks. 

등록금 외에 다른 비용이 있나요? Are there other fees except tuition?

- 교재비 (Textbook Fee)

유아/유치반, 1-2학년, 성인반 교재비: $30

Pre-k/K, 1st-2nd grade, Adult class : $30

- 학부모 회비 (PTA Fee)

한글반 등록자는 학기 마다 학부모회비가 학생 당 $20 청구됩니다. 

Each semester, $20 of PTA fee for each Korean class student

- 교지값 (Yearbook Fee) 

교지값($30)은 2학기에만 부과됩니다. 1학기에는 교지가 배부되지 않습니다. 

$30 only for 2nd semester. No yearbook is published in 1st semester. 

- 등록금 연체료 (Late Fee) 

2차 수업까지 수업료를 완납하지 않으시면 Late fee $25 추가요금이 청구됩니다.

Late fee $25 will be charged if payment is not received by the 2nd week of the semester.

등록시 학년과 캠퍼스를 꼭 확인하세요! 

학년이나 캠퍼스를 잘못 입력하면??반별 정원으로 인해 등록이 취소될 수 있습니다. 

Check the campus location and grade when you register!! 

If you choose the wrong campus and grade, your child may not enroll for the Bellevue Campus due to classroom capacity limitations.?

학교에서 보내는 등록확인 메일과 paypal에서 보내는 payment 확인 메일을 꼭 받으셔야 하는데 hotmail 이나 yahoomail 계좌로 등록하신 경우 메일이 지운편지함이나 정크 메일 편지함으로 이동될 수 있습니다. 

등록후 확인 메일을 받지 못하신 경우 지운편지함이나 정크 메일함을 꼭 확인하시고?메일을 찾으면 정크 메일이 아닌 것으로 표시하시면 이 후에 학교에서 보내는 메일이 정상적으로 전송됩니다.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email from USBKS and PayPal. However, if you have a Hotmail or Yahoo email address, the confirmation email may end up in your Spam or Junk Mail. 

Please double check both of those folders if you do not see a confirmation email shortly after your payment. 

If your confirmation has been routed to your Spam or Junk Mail folder, please make sure to check the "Not Spam" button so that our emails will go directly to your inbox moving forward.

장학 증서 사용 방법을 알려주세요.How to use Scholarship Certificate 

자녀가 학교 각종대회에서 수상하여 장학 증서가 있는 경우 온라인 등록시 등록금이 자동 차감 됩니다.

If your child has received a certificate of scholarship at any school competitions, the registration fee will be automatically deducted when registering online.

장학금은 어떻게 받을 수 있나요? How to accept a Scholarship?

장학금은 한글반에 한해서 받으실수 있습니다. 

Scholarships apply for Korean classes only. It is not applied to PTA, yearbook, or Enrichment (optional) classes 

연간 전 가계소득이 $20,000 이하인 경우 - 세금 보고서 제출

If your annual income is under $20,000 : TAX REPORT must be submitted. 

또는 점심을 무료로 공급 받는 경우 - 학교에서 발급받은 무료 점심 제공서 제출 

Or you receive Free lunch from District Schools : Certification Form from School must be submitted.

온라인 등록 후에 학교로 이메일 보내주시고, 필요한 서류 확인후에 등록금 조정 받으시고 결제하세요.

After completing the online registration, please send an email to the school. Once the necessary documents are verified, you will receive an adjustment for the registration fee, and then you can proceed with the payment.

등록금에 관한 규정을 알고 싶어요. I want to know Tuition Policy.

등록금은 매 학기마다 수업을 받기 전에 완불되어야 함을 원칙으로 합니다  

Tuition is due on the first day of school. The amount due is listed on the registration from. 

늦게 등록한 경우 학기가 시작된 후 4주까지는 100%, 그 이후로는 수업회수의 비율로 등록금을 지불해야합니다.

예) (총 등록금 / 16주) * 수업 회수 = 실제 지불 액수

 No discount/refund is given for missing the first three weeks of the semester. 

Starting from the fourth week, tuition is calculated in proportion to weeks missed.

등록금 환불 및 크레딧 규정에 대해서 알고 싶어요. Class Withdrawal and Refund Policy

등록한 후 학교를 다닐 수 없는 경우 학부모의 요청에 의해 등록금을 환불 받거나 크레딧을 받을 수 있습니다. 학교에서 제공한 크레딧은 본인과 본인가족만 사용 가능하며 환불은 불가합니다.

The balance will be refunded or may be held as a credit to be used in the next two semesters. Credits provided by the school can only be used by you and your family, and refunds are not available.

학기 시작 전 등록을 취소하면 등록금 100%를 돌려받을 수 있고, 1주차에 취소하면 등록금 75%를, 2주차에 취소하면 등록금 50%를 돌려받을수 있습니다. 3주차부터는 등록금을 돌려받을수 없습니다. 

A 100% tuition refund is available to students if they withdraw before class. 75% tuition is available for withdrawal during the first week, and 50% tuition is available for withdrawal during the second, weeks. No refund is available after the 3rd week.

빠진 수업은 등록금을 돌려받을수 없으나, 질병으로 인한 장기 결석의 경우 의사의 진단서 또는 의견서를 첨부하시면 환불 가능합니다. 

No refund is available for missing classes, but in the case of long-term absences due to illness, you can get a refund by attaching a doctor's medical certificate or opinion.

특활반 등록은 한글반 등록을 했을 때만 등록 가능합니다. 특활반만 등록은 불가합니다.

Registration for the enrichment classes is only possible after registering for the Korean Group. It is not possible to register for only the enrichment classes.

**특활반은 첫 수업 시작 후에는 refund 불가능합니다. 단, 원하는 특활반에 자리가 있을 경우에는 이동이 가능합니다.

After the first class begins, refunds for enrichment classes are not possible. However, if there are available seats in the desired enrichment class, transferring is possible.
